After an internal rebrand, Bennett Opies approached Big Orange Media to help assist with print adverts, social media content and paid social advertising. I worked alongside the Creative Team to develop a motif for the campaign, and to implement it across the multiple deliverables.
Our first step was the develop the colour palette, aligning it with the products and food photography provided by the client, drawing out the flavours advertised and creating a sensual and eye-catching collection of advertisements. To support their content, we included illustrations of their products and paired them with their brand illustrated characters, building recognition with their new packaging.
From here, we went through a couple of iterations with the client, then proceeded to produce the copy to accompany the ads, using punchy words to describe the advertised dishes, while keeping the word count to a minimum. Typography was important to Opies, so we made sure to align with their tone of voice and to stick to their fonts and rules established within their rebrand.

Outcome
We started off with the print media deliverables, communicating with national publications such as BBC Good Food and Good Housekeeping. From here we developed their Meta paid advertising campaign, organic posts and web collateral. This is an ongoing campaign with the agency, stay tuned for more work coming soon!
