Under the creative direction of Phil Robinson and in collaboration with the Back9 Creative team, I designed and developed the logo, presenting and collaborating with Mīharo and stakeholders along the way.
I initially began with research, aware that Mīharo was the Southland Maori and Pasifika trust, I wanted to make sure I encompassed Murihiku (Southland) within the design, as well as telling a story. This was developed through the trust's supplied artwork from a local artist, as well as a general understanding of the geography of Southland.
Mīharo stationery was designed and printed for the trust, and a website was built. I was involved with the development of the website by designing graphic elements, brainstorming, copywriting and editing alongside the rest of the Back9 team.
