Massive Magazine is a fortnightly publication with 12 issues published a year (at the time). The content of each issue was curated by the editor and subsequently designed within a week, leaving a further week for printing and distribution between three Massey University campuses throughout New Zealand.
Each issue was a 48 page document, with content and editorials being sent through by Journalism and Marketing students, as well as content from Photography, Illustration and Design students. When needed, I contributed to the magazine in the form of illustrations and opinion pieces (see previous issues here).
Duties of the role included:
Editorial layout of each issue, copywriting and editing, preparing the document for print, updating listings on website and Issuu, distributing around the Wellington campus, and additional illustrations and editorial content as required. This role was supervised by the magazine editor.
